Aromatherapy Practitioner
This comprehensive 336 hour (14 units) certificate program is designed to provide you with a high level of knowledge to practice as an ‘Aromatherapist’. The course will present a thorough understanding of the human body and the inter-action of the practice of Aromatherapy on the individual, within a wholistic perspective. It will also provide a platform of how to use Aromatherapy and relaxation massage techniques in support of other health disciplines and on an individual therapy basis. This knowledge supports the client's overall health care program, as they work towards restoring and maintaining health balance. (A unit represents 24 hours of training)

Aromatherapy Specialization
Aromatherapy 1: Learn several hands-on applications of essential oils. The use of essential oils for relaxation, beauty and health. (24 hrs) No pre-requisite
Aromatherapy Therapy 2: An introduction to the history and general therapeutic use of essential oils as well as phytochemical activity. (24 hrs) Pre-requisite: Aromatherapy 1
Aromatherapy 3: A presentation of essential oil properties as well as formulas for the treatment of various conditions using essential oils. (24 hrs) Pre-requisite: Aromatherapy 2 Available by Home Study.
Aromatherapy 4: More formulas for the treatment of common conditions are presented and discussed. (24 hrs) Pre-requisite: Aromatherapy 3
Pharmacology: Discuss the importance of accurate history taking & contraindications related to pharmaceutical & alternative medications. (24 hrs) Pre-requisite: A/P 4
Clinical/Community/Cases: Practical application of theory.
