This 1152 hour (48 units)  program is designed specifically to meet the growing standards of education for the Spa industry.  The Spa Practitioner program prepares students to enter the Spa industry as practitioners who will specifically focus on helping their clients achieve the goals and benefits of full relaxation and the feeling of nourishing and supporting his/her personal well-being. (A unit represents 24 hours of training.)
The Spa Practitioner program is much more than just an esthetics program. In addition to courses that teach proper techniques in manicure/pedicure, facials, waxing, cosmetology; the student is trained in key Spa modalities such as hydrotherapy, aromatherapy, relaxation massage, mud and seaweed wraps, salt glows and the human sciences. Our Student Clinic (and Co-op) experience gives you practical experience so you’re work-ready when you graduate.
The SPA Practitioner will be capable of working as a ‘self-proprietor’ or within a professional group or clinic environment, in a field of ever expanding consumer awareness and employment opportunity.
